In 2017, a team of alleged researchers claimed to have found three alien mummies in Nazca, Peru, a place that many have always linked to UFO apparitions. These mummies showed elongated skulls and only had three fingers on each. A “scientist” named Konstantin Korotkov carried out a study in which he tried to convince us that the mummies are authentic and belong to aliens.
The first conclusions of his alleged study did not seem very crazy (perhaps to try to justify what comes next). According to him, mummies (let’s go along with it and admit for a moment that they are not a simple fraud) are female, they lived around the fifth century of our era, and they have 23 pairs of chromosomes like us. But then he claimed that the internal distribution of its skeleton and organs is different from that of our species. And he concluded that they are humanoid specimens, the result of a mix between aliens and humans.
The problem is that the story doesn’t hold up anywhere. First, because the discoverers of this “momentous archaeological find” had already been involved in other frauds. And, second, because Korotkov’s curriculum is of rather dubious reliability. Korotkov assures that he is a professor at the Russian National Research University but at the university they deny that he ever belonged to the institution. In addition, he is known for manufacturing and selling cameras to photograph souls.
In short, and in case anyone had any doubts, this is the new chapter of a gross fraud that cannot convince anyone, except the most fanatical defenders of ufology.

It begins with what at first appears to be a typical Peruvian mummy sitting, with her arms around her knees, like a child waiting for its father. Its head is elongated like those of other pre-Columbian mummies, whose societies artificially molded the skulls of their children to achieve ideals of beauty or represent group membership. Since then, he, Peruvian archaeologists are fed up with saying that the mummy is actually indigenous and Andean, and belongs to a real human individual who has been mutilated to look like an alien. WARP SKULLS AS AN AESTHETIC MODEL
These mummies are not the only ones with this strange deformity. Pedro Cieza de León, Pizarro’s companion and author of the Chronicle of Peru in 1553, relates the pre-Hispanic custom of certain South American peoples of practicing cranial deformations in children. Three hundred and fifty-six mummies belonging to fourteen different cultural groups of the Andean regions have been found along 1,200 kilometers of coast, between the populations of Huacho in Peru and Arica in northern Chile that present deformities.
As Dr. Kauffmann Doig describes, mothers took care of their children’s skull deformity from the moment they were born. Their heads were girdled, something similar to what the gheisas did with their feet, so that the skull would grow deformed.

Contemporary to Paracas and the early Nazca, a new culture appeared in the north of Chile and south of Peru, characterized by its unique style of burial mounds, it is the Alto Ramírez cultural group. Some of these burial mounds housed up to five hundred bodies with high vault-type cranial deformations. From the grave goods found it is deduced that it could be the burials of invading warriors.
Why did they do it? Well, the answer to this question has been buried with them. The most applauded hypotheses are that they were looking for an aesthetic ideal, among the warriors, to appear taller and more intimidating, a trait that would distinguish them.
