Intel has presented a new version of the NUC 13 Pro, its more advanced mini-PC than now with the “Desk Edition” version, it provides greater visual appeal when placing it on the desktop and changes in port placement or customization .
There is an offer of Mini-PCs to bore you. They are the only ones that continue to grow in the large group of OEM desktops and, together with laptops, the ones that register the best sales. Intel’s NUCs are the great reference that other manufacturers are pursuing and now they are launching a new version.
Intel NUC 13 Pro “Desk Edition”
Codenamed ‘Vivid Canyon’ , this variant is similar to the NUC 13 Pro “Atlas Canyon” announced in March, featuring the 13th generation Core processor, Raptor Lake, and a ton of hardware options, including those that mount the vPro 13 Gen processors and also various in formats, ready-to-run configurations and also barebones .
The big difference comes from its silver chassis and a white cover that is out of line with the NUC finishes and makes it visually more attractive. We also see new vents and port placement changes.
Supported processors are ‘U’ or ‘P’ series, including Core i3-1315U, Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P . They feature two SODIMM slots to accommodate up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. As for storage, they include an M.2 2280 slot to install a PCIe Gen 4 x4 SSD. Its connectivity is quite complete:

Intel offers it in configurations assembled with Windows 11 Home pre-installed starting with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Barebones versions are also offered for the user to mount their own memory, storage unit and operating system, with Windows 10/11 and GNU/Linux supported.
