The following document contains information related to the privacy policy of Childish Man (hereinafter CM), including details about the data collected, how it is stored, what it is used for and what rights you have as a user.

At CM we are aware of the importance of privacy and data protection of our users. For this reason, we have carried out an internal audit to establish policies and measures that guarantee the security of our users and their data.

What information do we collect?

The information that CM collects is contact data provided voluntarily by the user through a web form. The most common are name, address, email, telephone and company, although in some cases you can request additional information always related to the professional field and with the aim of offering products and services of interest to you.

Our web pages (like this site) also collect and store information using cookies and similar technologies, including IP addresses, access region, device, browser or operating system.

This data is used for internal analytics and for advertising services, using tools such as Google Analytics, Google DFP or Statcounter, standards in the web content industry.

How is my information protected?

CM maintains an active security policy to protect your data, which includes both technical and organizational security solutions. Your data is stored on a secure server located in the European Union. This security is subject to periodic audits and access to your data is only allowed to those who need it to provide you with access to products or services you have requested.

CM adopts state-of-the-art security measures to protect your data, but the user must be aware that it is impossible to guarantee the existence of any security breach in the future. CM undertakes to monitor and solve any problem related to the security of your data in the shortest possible time, as well as to communicate it to the affected users within a maximum period of 72 hours.

What will my data be used for?

In compliance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data ( RGPD), we inform you that the data you provide us as a registered user will be processed to:

  • Communicate with you, sending you notices about your registration, changes in our legal conditions and / or other internal purposes of CM.
  • Use the comment system integrated into the CM websites and provided by Disqus. When writing a comment, the nickname of your account is published, and the email and IP address associated with it is stored.
  • Deliver the requested product or service, usually via email.
  • Improve our services, thanks to web analytics and systems to offer you personalized advertising according to your interests.
  • Provide information to third parties, associated with CM, so that they can deliver products or services of interest to you.

Legal bases

At CM we use the information you provide us to send you communications that may be of interest to you and to provide you with quality products and services as you request them.

The legal basis for all the treatments indicated above is that of consent. We save the necessary data to prove that we have the user’s consent. In any case, the user can modify, withdraw or delete this consent at any time, using the channels detailed in this document.

The legitimate commercial and business interests of CM do not prejudice its potential interests and, in any case, the current legal framework and the impact on your privacy will always be considered. CM will never use your personal data in those circumstances that violate your rights and freedoms, unless the law (and the authority in your case) require it.

How long is your personal data kept?

We keep your data for the duration of your relationship with us. After requesting the cancellation, your data is deleted in a maximum of 48 hours and permanently. Yes, we can keep a secure copy of the unsubscribe request, in order to prove the request and avoid future communications.
